Bass Coast farmers are invited to attend this workshop focusing on multi species cover crops featuring Grant Sims.
Grant Sims is sixth generation farmer running the family farm in North central Victoria Australia. The farm comprises 8500 acres of dryland and some irrigation. The Bass Coast Landcare Network is pleased to announce the successful funding as part of the Natural Heritage Trusts Climate-Smart Agriculture Program’s Small Grants opportunity. The project is titled ‘Creating Climate Smart Farms in Bass Coast through Climate Adaptation Planning, Emissions Reduction Planning and community education’.
The Bass Coast Landcare Network in partnership with Western Port Catchment Landcare Network and South Gippsland Landcare Network are pleased to announce the successful funding of a new multiyear project, the Creating Climate Smart Communities project, supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program under the Natural Heritage Trust.
