Join us for an engaging forum with guest speakers and leading experts on the cryptic weeds threatening Western Port’s unique coastal wetlands. Discover the impacts of invasive agricultural weeds like Cape Broom, Bridal Creeper, and Spiny Rush, as well as aquatic invaders such as Spartina and Sea Spurge. Learn practical ways you can help protect these habitats, including contributing to the new iNaturalist project “Weeds of Western Port”, where your sightings make a difference. After lunch, enjoy a walk and talk with Bass Coast Landcare, onsite at the Bayside Adventure Camp. This will include some hands-on activity.We are grateful to the Dept. of Agriculture and the Victorian Government for funding this important work through their Partnerships Against Pests program.
