Carbon Farming Outreach Program. Bass Coast workshop and farm walk- Day 2. Friday 31st October.

Join us for day 2 of the Bass Coast Carbon Farming Outreach Program (CFOP) workshop and farm walk.  ​

 This event will be hosted at the Grantville property of John Carney who is actively managing his pastures and soils through grazing management, multi species pastures and application of Bioferts.  The day will be supported by expert guest speaker, Declan McDonald from Regen Soils who will be speaking on the following topics:
 

• Soil Carbon- an overview.

 

• Soil Carbon Sequestration- How to and why?

 

• Soil Carbon Sequestration opportunities- on farm and off farm.

 

• Soil Carbon Sequestration threats and risks- on farm and off farm.

 
We will also be going on a farm walk with host farmer John Carney and facilitated by Declan McDonald.
