You are invited to an exciting field day on ‘successfully managing Giant Gippsland Earthworms under regenerative agriculture management systems’ at the Moyarra property of Burke and Bronwyn Brandon, Moyarra Pastoral. This organically certified sheep and beef farming enterprise is actively managed under a regenerative agriculture management system. The farm also has numerous colonies of the Giant Gippsland Earthworm that have remained healthy in areas managed as pastures and in protected vegetation areas. Joining us on the day are Giant Gippsland Earthworm expert, Dr Beverley Van Praagh, who has studied and worked with the species for over 30 years, and regenerative agriculture consultant, Chris Alenson. This will be a fantastic field day that will include a walk to numerous healthy earthworm colonies in pasture and protected vegetation situations. Biosecurity measures will be in place on the day. Please ensure your vehicles and footwear are clean prior to this farm walk. Event Details. Date: Friday 19th September 2025. Time: 10.00am to 2.00pm. Farm address: Farm address details will be forwarded onto you upon confirmation of attendance. Morning tea and lunch provided. For further information and to RSVP for this event email [email protected] by 15th September 2025. Please include any dietary requirements. This project received grant funding from the Australian Government Saving Native Species Program.
