The Fire Wise Learning Hub has been officially launched at a recent online webinar hosted on June 17th. The learning hub was produced in collaboration with Drift Media and Owen Gooding. Owen has been involved in biodiversity conservation and bushfire management for over 23 years working with state and local government and the CFA. He was a member of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Task Force which undertook research into house loss on Black Saturday. Without his expertise this project would not have been able to come to fruition.
