Fire wise Learning Hub launched.

The Fire Wise Learning Hub has been officially launched at a recent online webinar hosted on June 17th.  The learning hub was produced in collaboration with Drift Media and Owen Gooding. 

Owen has been involved in biodiversity conservation and bushfire management for over 23 years working with state and local government and the CFA. He was a member of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Task Force which undertook research into house loss on Black Saturday.  Without his expertise this project would not have been able to come to fruition.

A summary of the available content included in the learning hub is below:

Number of active resources in total: 49
Number of video resources: 6 videos produced in house, multiple links to external videos
Number of downloadable resources: 28 downloadable pdfs
Number of scientific papers:  4 published resources- CSIRO, University of Tasmania and Australian National University

This online resource will continue to evolve with the addition of new and updated content.
