Employment

LANDCARE TRAINEESHIP – FIXED TERM

(Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or Horticulture)

Are you passionate about the environment? We currently have a full time trainee position available.
Working with the Bass Coast Landcare Network you will become part of a team responsible for educational, advice and implementation of sustainable land and farm management.
Passionate Trainees are needed to undertake bush regeneration, nursery work, revegetation, weed control and mapping works. As well as enthusiasm and communications skills you will need skills, or a strong interest, in natural resource management and working with farming communities and volunteer groups.
The successful candidate must be eligible for the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program, and will be required to undertake an accredited, nationally recognised, qualification as part of their employment.

This is a fixed term, full time position for the duration of the traineeship or two years, whichever comes first.
BCLN will take care of your training costs and provide you with a mentor to assist you through your traineeship.

Applications are to be submitted with resume and cover letter addressing selection criteria to: Robbie Gray, Operations Manager at [email protected]  by 5 pm Monday the 30 June 2025.
