Invasive Species Coordinator – full time
Salary range $65k to $70k + commuter use vehicle
Are you passionate about the environment? Are you committed to improving environmental outcomes, particularly around threatened species?
Working with the Bass Coast Landcare Network, you will become part of a dedicated team responsible for education, advice and implementation of sustainable land and wildlife management and enhancement.
We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to;
• Coordinate a small team to implement a range of invasive pest programs to protect native wildlife and plants from Wilsons Prom to Phillip Island
• Work directly with key partners to align programs, develop projects and funding submissions,
• Revise BCLNs Invasive Species Strategy and direction, with a focus on threatened species protection
• Undertake feral animal control from Wilsons Promontory to Phillip Island
