Landcare Traineeship - Fixed Term(Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or Horticulture)
Full-time trainee position available. Mature age applicants welcomed, paid in line with Horticultural award. Are you passionate about the environment? Working with the Bass Coast Landcare Network you will become part of a team responsible for education, advice and implementation of sustainable land and farm management. Passionate Trainees are needed to undertake bush regeneration, chainsaw work, revegetation, weed control and mapping work. As well as enthusiasm and communications skills you will need skills, or a strong interest, in natural resource management and working with farming communities and volunteer groups. The successful candidate must be eligible for the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program, and will be required to undertake an accredited, nationally recognised, qualification as part of their employment. This is a fixed term, full time position for the duration of the traineeship or two years, whichever comes first.
