Creating a space for you, our local farming women to connect, network and share. An opportunity for you to  learn new knowledge and skills to improve decision making for your own sustainable farming and business practices.

​Discussion Group style workshop days will have a technical theory component plus a farm walk at the properties of other local farming Women (maybe yours?!), with the format allowing for plenty of group discussion in a safe space and questions to be answered by experts on topics of interest.

On July 26th we had our first session in the new Bass Coast Women on Farms series! We had a fantastic group of 16 ladies, and yes there is also a man in the picture, our guest presenter John Bowman, Livestock Extension Officer for the Department of Agriculture who ably answered all of our questions on managing wet pastures and pugging. New connections were made with women on farms all across Bass Coast and a bit beyond! We can't wait to hopefully host the next session in person on a local farm in Spring.
