The Three Creeks Landcare precinct takes in public and private land on the west side of the Powlett River catchment that includes Bridge Creek, Woolshed Creek and Bourne Creek which run into the Powlett River and out into Bass Strait. The terrain varies from coastal plains to steep gullies with a few remnants of damp foothills forest and coastal woodland.
The Group has a diverse membership including original settler families, sea/tree changers, weekenders and established farmers. It is an active group who enjoy the social interaction that goes with working together to shape the future of our environment.
The 3 Creeks Landcare group aims to promote a sustainable and productive environment through education, awareness, and community involvement in Landcare activities for a long-term future.
The impact of our work is evident throughout the region and we are keen to see this continue.
