CONNECTING WITH COMMUNITY​
This year, we have focussed on engaging our community through our community projects and events like the National Tree Day and National School’s Tree Day planting days in the Kongwak Pioneer Reserve and informative stalls at Inverloch Kongwak Primary School's The Great Fete the Korumburra Helping Hand's launch and the Kongwak Market.​

Please see the following important information regarding changes to Kongwak Hills Landcare Group Annual Membership for 2024:

Member Portal Decommissioned
In recent years, KHLG has utilised the Landcare in West Gippsland Member Portal to manage memberships records and payments. As per previous communication, the portal has now been decommissioned. 
Landcare groups are back to individually managing their own membership records and payments.
Due to these changes, credit card payments and auto renewal subscriptions options are not available for 2024 membership. 

2024 Annual Membership Info
Membership term: 1 January - 31 December.
2024 Fee: $35 inc GST per property/household.
Payment method: EFT/Bank Deposit.

"LOVE" FOR THE PIONEER RESERVE ON NATIONAL TREE DAY 2023

National Tree Day 2023 was celebrated in Kongwak on Sat 29 July with a gesture of “love” directed toward the Kongwak Pioneer Reserve.

The “love” was in form of a community tree planting event hosted by Kongwak Hills Landcare Group, part of their "Love your Reserve" Community project which aims to engage the Kongwak community in restoring the declining health of the 41ha patch of significant remnant vegetation back to a place of self-sustainability. ​
