​Korumburra Landcare Group have secured Tom May, Mycologist at the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, to give a presentation on fungi, its richness, roles and rarity.
Tom will give an overview of fungi in intact and restored ecosystems, covering their diversity and ecological roles, as well as highlight the habits of Victoria's rarest fungus, the enigmatic Tea-tree Fingers, restricted to West Gippsland in small pockets of remnant vegetation.
