You are invited along to this exciting farm walk to learn about natural capital accounting on farms at the iconic revegetation property of Paul Speirs. Natural capital accounting methods have been developed for assessing both vegetation and soils on farm which can be turned into accounting terms that may attract future funding incentives and trading opportunities. The farm walk will feature Karen Thomas from the PPWCMA, who will talk us through the Accounting for Nature and Landcare (Level 3) natural capital accounting process. Karen will also demonstrate the Landcare Native Vegetation Method (Level 3) in the field. This should be an interesting farm walk and we look forward to seeing you there.
