Join us on Friday 19th of May to tour some of the best Landcare projects from the top to the bottom of the Powlett catchment. Starting early we will visit 11 sites including a cool temperate rainforest gully on the property of Paul Speirs (pictured), Prom Country Cheese and the Mouth of the Powlett River. This tour aims to bring together people from our own and neighboring regions to look at some of the best examples of on ground Landcare works to inspire others to action. It is hoped that this will be the start of many similar days in other regions to share knowledge and experience with each other. A bus will be leaving the West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority (WGCMA) office at 16 Hotham St Traralgon at 7:30am on Friday the 19th of May. The second pick up point will be at the Leongatha WGCMA office at, Corner of Bair & Young Streets at 8:30am. Morning tea and cheese tasting will be provided at Prom Country Cheese and a BBQ Lunch will be held at John and Nick Millers rainforest farm at Archie's Creek.
