The Bass Coast Landcare Network and project partners invite you along to this exciting Giant Gippsland Earthworm community information and field day. Giant Gippsland Earthworms are only found in an area roughly the size of 40,000 ha in South and West Gippsland, Victoria. The majority of its known current habitat is on farmland and farmers can play a vital role in its conservation and management. It is essential that farmers and land managers continue to work together to manage valuable habitat in ways that protect and enhance GGE habitat, ensuring that the earthworms continue to survive and thrive. This community workshop will cover:
