Holden the Ground Working Bee. Creating a wildlife sanctuary by predator proofing the Holden Proving Ground. The Holden Proving Ground at Lang Lang contains 880ha of diverse remnant bushland which hosts over 105 species of fauna, including the threatened Latham's snipe, Swift parrot, White footed dunnart, Powerful Owl and Southern toadlet. Please join us in protecting these species by predator proofing the boundary fence as part of a project to eradicate foxes from within the proving ground. We will be slashing grass and attaching a wire ‘skirt’ to the outside of the security fence. Please wear appropriate clothing. Event Details.
