Are you between the ages of 18-35 and love the outdoors? This may be just the event for you! Gippsland Recreation Outdoors will once again be guiding Gippsland Intrepid Landcare members down a section of the Macalister River. This time we will be in the headwaters above Lake Glenmaggie, in the beautiful Macalister Gorge Scenic Reserve. This section of the Macalister was last treated for Willow (a noxious weed) in 2019, and we will be hunting for any regrowth. The paddle will finish up at the beautiful Cheynes Bridge Camping Area, where we will camp the night (bring your bathers!) Click here for all the info and to book!
The Bass Coast Landcare Network would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Land Owners within the Network area, The Bunurong and Boon Wurrung people. We also recognise the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations in Land and Natural Resource Management.
